Your entire matrimonial profile, partner preferences, shortlists, horoscope data, family details, and match algorithm score will be permanently erased. Once deleted, this profile cannot be recovered.
All profile photographs, blurred security layers, identity verification uploads, and vendor portfolio images stored on AWS S3 will be permanently deleted and purged from CDN caches.
Existing connection requests, direct chat threads, and photo access permissions will be terminated. Your name and profile will appear as "Deleted Account" in other users' previous chat histories.
Any remaining balance on active premium membership plans (Silver, Gold, Diamond), contact view credits, vendor spotlight packages, or franchise privileges will be immediately forfeited without a refund.
In compliance with the Information Technology Act (India), the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and GST/financial regulations, certain transactional records (such as invoice history, GST details, payment gateway references, and security audit logs) are retained for legally mandated compliance periods (up to 180 days or statutory tax retention limits) before final automated destruction.

Step-by-step instructions for Android & iOS App users
Launch the WeddingZon app and tap the My Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Tap the Settings (⚙️) gear icon located at the top right of your profile screen.
Navigate to Account & Security and select the Delete Account option at the bottom.
Select your reason, verify with your registered mobile OTP, and confirm permanent account removal.
